The Playa Blanca Salt Warehouse, built a century ago by the Lleo Benlliure family, was used to store salt, a basic and precious product in times of scarcity, which was produced in the Salinas de Janubio before being transported by sailboats and barges to the neighboring islands of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.
Today the warehouse houses one of the most peculiar restaurants on the island of Lanzarote due to its location among the ancient walls, its original decoration, the live music, the impeccable service, the splendid terrace a stone’s throw from the beach with views of the sea and the island of Fuerteventura and is also a must for those who especially appreciate the quality of raw materials.
